JASON ABRAHAMS

Jason has been in control of the operational side of his own breeding and racing business for the past 20 years. Originally educated at university in Accounting, Jason has a hands-on role in the organisation and attends many of the sales throughout the year for yearlings and mares.

This provides Jason with a close appreciation of the market and trends that are developing in breeding and racing, which the family organisation has then leveraged from to create opportunities for growth.

Over this time, he has purchased and raced many horses (Rocha Clock, Mohave Dancer, Charge Forward, Faith Hill, Men At Work, Steflara, Chiming Lass, Winona, Cool Front, Fist of Fury, Jessicabeel, Legsman, Awesome Wonder etc) and also bred and sold yearlings successfully at the major sales (Phoenix Park, Natural Blitz, Black Minx, Road To Rock, Nechita, Éclair Big Bang, etc).

Jason is also a Certified Financial Planner and owns a financial planning business in Sydney. Jason holds directorships and shareholdings in a vast array of businesses and has been involved in the development of a number of start-up operations.

Jason’s role includes yearling sale selections and syndicating of the stock purchased, as well as the ongoing management and race planning alongside the trainer of each syndicated horse.

Emma has been an integral part of the Champion team since 2015. She is the first port of call for existing owners and also for potential owners seeking guidance on how to become involved in this exciting industry. A very important aspect of Emma's role is to be responsible for ensuring we communicate effectively about our Champion horses with owners, bridging the gap between owner and trainer. Emma's passion for racing soon evolved into the administration sector where she completed a Cadetship in 2013 with Racing NSW as a training officer at their racing academy where she obtained a CIV in Racing Administration. She then went on to work as the RNSW regulatory coordinator and then into a marketing and media assistant role. Emma is married to jockey Shaun Guymer and they share a young son named Fletcher.

Emma has also enjoyed the experience of having ownership in her first racehorse and understands the fundamentals and importance of owner relationships along with the excitement and rewards that owning a racehorse can bring. Our Trainers

ANNABEL NEASHAM & ROB ARCHIBALD

ANNABEL NEASHAM & ROB ARCHIBALD

TRAINER, WARWHICK FARM, NSW

The Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald partnership formed on August 1st, 2024 after Rob had worked as Assistant trainer for the stable for a few years.

Both astute horse people in their own right, Annabel hails from Croughton in the United Kingdom where she was bought up in the world of eventing, show-jumping and hunting. In 2016, Annabel made her way to Australia on a working holiday before falling in love with the country. She worked under the top class trainer Gai Waterhouse, before finding her way to Ciaron Maher's stable at Caulfield.

Her talent and dedication soon earned her the responsibility of overseeing the Sydney branch of Ciaron Maher Racing, which she skillfully established in 2018.  During her tenure, the Sydney stable soared to new heights, achieving over 50 victories in New South Wales in just two seasons.

Since transitioning to training in her own right, Annabel has continuously delivered impressive results in the early years of her career achieving 10 x Group 1 wins, 16 Group 2 wins, 7 Group 3 wins and 23 Listed wins so far in her fourth year of training.

Rob,  a former polo professional who worked for David Simcock and Hugo Palmer in the UK and for Gai Waterhouse before that, was working as Racing Manager for Coolmore Australia before taking up the role as Annabel's assistant trainer in 2020.

Our first yearling purchase with the Nesham/Archibald stable was stakes winning filly Lilac, purchased together at the 2023 NZ Karaka sale. We look forward to continued success with the powerful duo.

DANIELLE SEIB

DANIELLE SEIB

TRAINER, GOULBURN NSW

A career in racing was always on the table for Danielle, after fostering a love of horses from a very young age.

She was guided in her passion by her late father and horseman, Lewis Seib, who was foreman for Brian Mayfield-Smith when defeating Tommy Smith for the Sydney Premiership. When Lewis passed away unexpectedly in 2017, Danielle was thrust into the training ranks earlier than expected, making a quiet start to her new profession whilst completing University studies.

This quiet start was short-lived, however, after shifting training bases to Goulburn, Danielle quickly notched together dual Highway wins with enigmatic AssualtnBathory. Her team has continued to expand since then, currently working 28 horses with a 2022/23 season strike rate of above 24% winners to runners.

Danielle has had instant success with Champion Thoroughbreds in 2022/2023, winning 3 Highway's at Randwick in just 7 weeks with 3 different horses- King Of Spades, Smokeshow and Amarantz!

The stable has really hit the ground running since its beginning, with a winning strike rate of 20 per cent and roughly every second runner finishing in the first three.

"I pride myself on placement, transparency and getting the best out of every horse I train. I look forward to continued growth for the stable in coming years."- Jack Bruce
