Sheilarized is a daughter of European Champion, Authorized, a five lengths winner of the Epsom Derby (gr. I). A son of “Derby sire” Montjeu, Authorized is already sire of such as Spring Champion Stakes scorer Complacent; Hartnell, whose triumphs include The BMW (gr. I); and European group one winning fillies Ambivalent and Seal of Approval.

Sheilarized is half-sister to the speedy Office Bearer, who numbers the MRC Bel Esprit Stakes among his five victories. The dam, the extremely well-bred Street ‘Em Sheila is by champion racehorse and sire, Street Cry, out of the exceptional racemare, Super Sheila, heroine of the Turffontein Star Sprint (gr. I), Henry Eatwell Memorial Handicap (gr. III) and Turffontein Three-Year-Old Sprint Stakes (gr. I).

A daughter of Last Tycoon, Super Sheila is three-quarters sister to the European group winner Stormont, and is out of French juvenile black-type scorer Keep in Step. In turn, Keep in Step’s dam, stakes winner Mia Pola, is half-sister to Champion Two-Year-Old Grey Dawn II – the only horse to defeat the mighty Sea-Bird – and to classic winner Right Away. Mia Pola is also ancestress of French Derby (gr. I) winner Sulamani, of French and Irish Derby (gr. I) hero, Dream Well, and of Champion U.S. Turf Mare Zagora.

Sheilarized is a product of the Authorized Mr. Prospector cross, which has so far produced four stakes winners, and the cross of Authorized’s sire, Montjeu, over mares by Machiavellian, the grandsire of Sheilarized’s dam, has produced three group or graded winners, including Gallante, successful in the Grand Prix de Paris (gr. I).
