Soft Track Conditions For Bizou's Return To The Races

Bizou is set to kick off her preparation at a soggy Wyong on Saturday. The 4YO daughter of Zoustar is coming off two trials and will benefit from the run over 1350m against her own sex in the Benchmark 64 grade. She has drawn barrier 11 in the field of 13 runners and gets the services of Keagan Latham, who won on her last preparation when she was dominant breaking her maiden at Goulburn.

She really hit her straps last preparation after taking a while to mature as a 3YO and trainer John O'Shea is confident she can progress further when she gets out to a mile this preparation. The Heavy track conditions aren't to her liking, however the race presents as a nice kick-off for the preparation with her record showing she peaks at her third-up run and beyond.

Saturday's race presents with many chances including Godolphin's Lonhro mare Mollycoddle who hasn't finished any worse than second from four starts this preparation along with the Maher & Eustace trained Duchess Marizza who will benefit from a 3kg claim and has won on the heavy before.

Best of luck to Bizou's connections this preparation!
