Regine Off To Magic Millions Broodmare Sale



Champion Thoroughbreds will be represented by one mare in next weeks Magic Millions broodmare sale. 5 year-old Mastercraftsman mare Regine will be presented by the Newgate Farm draft on Tuesday, May 28th as Lot 933. A metropolitan winner herself, Regine is backed by a strong pedigree being a half-sister to Group 1 winner and Caulfield Cup runner-up Trip To Paris.

During her 16 start career, Regine notched up 4 wins and 3 minor placings, earning her connections nearly $90,000 in prizemoney.

"Regine was a tough, on-speed miler. She's a good looking mare who will throw some cracking types at stud- we're looking forward to seeing who secures her next week" commented Champion Director Jason Abrahams.

In New Zealand, on Monday, we saw a group of speedy youngsters trial at Cambridge over 935 metres. The trial was won by Vibrato. What is extremely pleasing about this is that Vibrato is a 3/4 brother in blood to our Sacred Falls Pinata filly being by Sacred Falls out a Pins mare.
