Private Thoughts Set For Debut

The third of Champion's two year old's will head to the races this season with Private Thoughts set to make her debut at Newcastle against her own age group over 900m. The daughter of Snitzel has shown plenty of natural speed in her barrier trials, most recently finishing third on a Heavy 9 behind promising colt True Detective.

John O'Shea has elected to use in-form apprentice Cejay Graham who will claim 3kg's in the race- "She's a pretty straight forward filly to ride, she's drawn well enough in gate 5 and with just 53kg on her back, I'm sure it will give her a competitive advantage over her rivals" commented John O'Shea after acceptances. The race has attracted a field of 9 runners, 6 of those are on debut including Private Thoughts.

Private Thoughts was purchased for $120,000 from the 2018 Karaka May sale after passing in at the Magic Millions January sale. She sports the Nearco Stud brand- the same brand as our recent Randwick winner Southern Lad and alumni Kuro.

Best of luck to her owners.
