Press Statement Off And Running With Early 2YO Trial Winner

The whispers at the track have been very positive about exciting first season sire Press Statement and this was backed up with a promising debut trial effort from 2YO Press Start at the Gold Coast this week. The filly, out of Testa Rossa mare Rossarita won the trial by an impressive 2.3 lengths over the 900m journey. Check out the trial (Heat 2) here>>

Press Start was purchased from this year's Magic Millions January sale by Greg Hickman and Ferguson Bloodstock for $180,000 from the Sledmere Stud Draft. She is a half-sister to metro winner Altair.

The future looks bright for Press Statement who currently stands at Vinery Stud for $16,500.

Champion Thoroughbreds purchased a beautiful Press Statement filly from the same sale as Press Start, out of the Group 1 placed mare Thinking Of You. Our filly has shown her trainer John O'Shea plenty of early natural talent and will press on the trials and races next preparation. Check out her jumpout last month:

We have one 5% share left in this filly, for more information contact Emma Guymer via or call the office on 02 9188 1010
