Maurice Colt Purchased From Day 2 Of Inglis Premier Sale

We're delighted to be bringing home Lot 472 from Day 2 of the Inglis Premier yearling sale - an impressive colt by Maurice purchased for $60,000 out of Group 3 winning & multiple Group 1 placed Snitzel mare Aliyana Tilde. She's a full-sister to Group 3 winner & Group 2 place-getter Teaspoon. This colt is a half-brother to 3 time winner Table Mountain (racing as Earth Trilogy in Hong Kong). Maurice's oldest Southern Hemisphere progeny are 2YO's and are showing a lot of promise, most recently with a quinella in Friday night's juvenile race at Canterbury.

"The Maurice colt looks a tough middle distance horse out of a very strong female family, with the dam being Gr1 placed and by the super sire in Snitzel. He had a great demeanour at the sales and walked up on each occasion without any drama, which is a horse's first real test in life. He comes off the prolific nursery in Arrowfield Stud, who also stand this colt's sire, Maurice, and the physical attributes of the sire are very evident in this colt which is quite exciting."- Jason Abrahams
